Author Cathy Weiss talks about her time in Cuba, reads from her book about the experience, and has a special screening of her movie
Metal and Cloth.
Having worked in the medical and social work fields, Cathy had a rare opportunity to visit Cuba on a cross-cultural exchange. She had special permission from Castro’s government to spend time at the ISA the Cuban Arts University. She lived with the Cuban people, toured the medical clinics, community arts projects, and galleries.
Free Cuban Refreshments and music!
